About
Pawsitive Pet Care does things a bit differently, and it all revolves around the personal service we provide.
It's not an exaggeration to say that we become VERY bonded with our clients' pets. Heck, as the owner of the business, I've even called clients to ask to spend time with them outside of their normal paid services. That's the quality of care that you deserve as pet owners. And that's what you get with us.
MEET OUR SMALL + DEDICATED TEAM
We have a small team on purpose. Your fur babies deserve to get to know their walker or sitter.

Pawsitive Pet Care likes to think of ourselves as extended family...
ones that are professionally certified, that is!

We're no 'hobbyists' or people who 'just' love pets. This is our passion and our mission.
And, we wouldn't have it any other way!
Owner
I have always been an animal lover and hoped to work with pets as a profession, but wasn't sure in what capacity. Fortunately, pet sitting found me! When I lived in Japan as a military wife, many Navy families traveled home to the US and needed someone to care for their fur babies as if they were their own. Not too long after that, I became the go-to pet sitter for our community and I absolutely loved it!
When I returned to the States in 2012, I resumed life in the finance industry and I knew immediately that something was missing. So, I quit my job to pursue my passion once again. After just three days of launching my new business, Pawsitive Pet Care, I had my first client. The rest, as they say, is history!

I absolutely love caring for such gentle, loving souls. It's always an honor to be chosen as their caretaker. Seniors, special needs pets, and the "misfits" (blind, deaf, tripods, etc.) hold a very special place in my heart and I honestly believe I have the best job in the world!

I'm a big believer in continued growth and education, which is why I am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter ®. To maintain my certification, I'm required to complete Continued Education Units (CEUs). I'm also bonded, insured, and certified in pet CPR/first aid.

It's my passion to step in as best as I can wherever clients may need a helping hand with their pets. Whether that means staying up all night with an anxious pet or attending a dog training session to make sure I'm on the same page as your trainer on dog walks, I'll be there.
I'm in it for the long haul, folks!

Justin
Dog Walker + Pet Sitting Partner
Justin is a trusted and beloved pet sitter and dog walker. He serves as Pawsitive Pet Care's primary dog walker, and a caring and attentive pet sitter. Starting out as my back-up sitter, Justin took to the job right away. He accompanied me for almost every overnight pet sitting reservation, and many dog walks, for the first couple of years. Justin is always quick to lend a helping hand, give the animals love and extra attention, and is terrific with client communication.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Justin held a non-pet related job. He was laid off due to the pandemic lock down, but it was great timing for us! Business really picked up for Pawsitive Pet Care and I asked him to join the team full-time.
Justin has proved to be very patient and understanding with each pets' needs. We often care for seniors and special needs pets, and Justin has learned how to carefully provide quality care for them, under my guidance.

Justin has a certain je ne sais quoi about him, Often times, new clients will tell us their pet is exceptionally timid or anxious -- particularly around men. Again, and again, Justin wins over these apprehensive babies in record time. They just gravitate to him, and quickly learn "Uncle Justin" is someone they can trust. It's been a beautiful thing to witness.
Justin is pet CPR and first aid certified, as well as insured and bonded.
I'm lucky to have him on the team!
